People.. this recipe works! I didn't add together the canned veggies @ first, did add the liquid though. The veggies themselves didn't go added until ii hours into cooking.

My hubby loves this soup! I did add a can of beef broth and just a lilliputian water, other than that, the perfect vegetable soup. I was worried well-nigh the tin vegetables, just you couldn't tell at all.

I'm trying to apply my crock pot for things other than craven, then I came beyond this recipe. I made a few changes though based on what I had on hand- I tossed in some baby carrots instead of from the tin can, and as well sliced upwardly some potatoes instead of from the can as well. My husband and 3 year onetime thought this was great! And information technology heated up well for my lunch the bext day too! This is an extremely easy recipe- I dear being able to merely "toss" it into the slow cooker and non have to precook anything! This is my kind of recipe- thanks for posting it!

Couldn't exist any easier, dump it all in the crock-pot and get. No chopping, measuring, etc. I similar that part! But as far every bit taste, its overwhelmingly, and I mean overwhelmingly, tomatoes...and therefor VERY acidic even later on cooking all night! I was skeptical about using canned veggies b/c I ever utilize fresh or frozen, but they were just fine. The recipe has so much potential, I remember if I tweek it a little bit, with less tomatoes, maybe a niggling vino, and some more beef, information technology would easily be five star. I similar the thought from some other reviewer to add a little bit of cooked pasta shells at the end. Will try once again. PS-Get your bread maker going timed to stop at the aforementioned time and everyone will remember you are superwoman...homeade soup and fresh hot bread!!!

1st time making this recipe, and I took Islandgirl'due south proposition for extra veggies, bouillon, and onion soup mix. Simply to kick information technology up the proverbial notch, I added Chipotle Tabasco. Awesome! In a 16 oz loving cup I put ii bouillon cubes, 1 i/ii packets of onion soup mix, about 3 tablespoons of Chipotle Tobasco (20 shakes of the canteen) and filled the residual of the glass with h2o. Dump that mixture in and it gives information technology a very overnice flavor; mildly spiced and a little smokey.

I used frozen vegetables and information technology was fabulous! I didn't have the canned veggies on hand, merely the frozen mix. I was worried because of the reviews proverb not to use frozen. I took into account the reviews saying there was too much of a tomato plant gustation. Here's what I did, (and proceed in heed it'due south mainly because I just used what I had on hand) 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables, I cut upwardly 7 pocket-sized red potatoes in very piddling pieces because they needed to exist used, I also cutting upwardly 1 roma tomato for the same reason, 2 cans of beef broth to go on from getting the watered down taste from the frozen veggies, and ane can of tomato soup. Everything else I did as directed. I added 1 can of broth first and so waited to come across if I needed anymore liquid. About iv hrs. in I added the second can and the soup to brand it more soupy. Hope this helps someone that merely has frozen vegetables on paw!
01/21/2006
Nosotros've cooked this several times, and love it! I use canned lima beans instead of greenish beans and apply 2 cans of sliced or whole potatoes instead of one.
09/02/2001
If you don't like a lot of tomato flavor, you might want to try a smaller can of crushed tomatos. Otherwise, first-class!
07/05/2007
I of my favorite recipes. So piece of cake and uncomplicated to do. Throw everything in the crock pot and forget nigh it. I always make this when our schedules are hectic or if I am making a meal for a friend or family member. I ever receive rave reviews. And most importantly, my boys always ask for seconds and thirds.
eleven/06/2006
I made this just like the recipe chosen for, no changes. My family loved it and it fabricated the house smell great. Super recipe.
06/14/2012
This is a squeamish recipe. Comforting and unlike for a dainty change. Changes I made: Used frozen corn, fresh baby carrots, one large diced potato and virtually 3/4 tin can crushed tomatoes. Could not detect the soup mix, so I used a can of beef goop. Likewise put in a proficient sprinkle of onion pulverisation and some garlic powder. My married man is non a fan of veggies at all, and so that'south why I didn't go with all the canned stuff with the juice in it. Just wanted to simply as much the first time, but he actually enjoyed it, so I won't change a affair and go on my alterations. I thought I would need to add water, only the soup thinned out as it cooked. I beginning my crockpot recipes the twenty-four hour period before and turn information technology on to a 'Keep Warm' setting, so it cooks for abour 18 hours without burning. Makes everything actually tender.
08/12/2012
The recipe is groovy and is peculiarly helpful for busy people. You tin can always rinse your canned veggies to remove some of the sodium content or buy the no salt versions.
02/twenty/2011
This is Splendid recipe for Busy FAMILIES!! The showtime fourth dimension I made information technology, it came out on the thicker side (maybe too much meat?), and then I added a little corn starch/water mixture to thicken it even more; now it'southward VEGETABLE STOUP. The only thing I did differently was to add together Oregano and a piffling Creole seasoning in place of salt. Served with Beer Bread (another to-die for recipe) & salad for a slap-up meal!! One RECOMMENDATION: For a more tender, autumn-off-the-bone meat, I recommend cooking it for at least 7-8 hours on low. Later on 6 hours, my meat was tender (and tasty), but after 7 hours, you lot could cut the meat with a fork.
08/xiv/2012
I made this soup yesterday and I think the last result was amazing. I don't take a slow cooker so I simply simmered it in a covered pot for nine hours.I used canned everything, only like it called for, except the carrots and the potatoes, which I used fresh. I constitute a vegetable soup spice mix in the gravy department of the supermarket as I couldn't find the i recommended in the original recipe, and used a carton of beef broth instead of a can. Sirloin steak was on sale (cheaper than stewmeat) so I used that instead. The only other alteration was one cup of white cooking sherry. The upshot was fabled!! Either I'm really drunkard or this is the all-time soup I've ever made!! Well done!!

Some of these reviews crack me up. If you don't similar the ingredients, notice some other recipe! There are plenty of them on this site. Don't rate a recipe you oasis't tried, people! ...Anyhow, my family devoured this. Nosotros are not big fans of carrots, so instead of a can of carrots, I added a tin can of peas and carrots considering the carrots were diced smaller. Plus, this gave me the opportunity to sneak peas in. That was the only change I made. Everyone loved it. Perfect easy, throw-together repast for a busy weeknight. Does Non sense of taste similar canned soup, despite the canned ingredients....And veggies from a can are still veggies, and way better for you than the fast food alternative for a lot of busy families.
01/04/2010
This may be the best soup I take always fabricated. Excellent! I made a few changes. I used fresh carrots and potatoes cut very pocket-sized. I used canned diced tomatoes with garlic and basil and I added (2) cans of beefiness broth since I didn't have whatever liquid from canned pot. and carrots. For the meat I used left over roast beef from the previous nights dinner. Did not need extra salt/pepper due to the onion soup mix. This is a keeper!
01/20/2009
This was perfect for a chilly winter evening. I worried about using canned potatoes, but they were just fine and saved the hassle of peeling and dicing. I browned lean ground beef the night before. I added the rest of the ingredients to the wearisome cooker pot and refrigerated till morn. All I had to do was pop the pot in the ho-hum cooker, plow it on low, and come up home to a warm, comforting repast with my family unit. I drained the vegetables out of habit, and so information technology needed more than liquid. I added a can of beef broth and two 11.v ounce cans of V8 juice. This soup is delicious served with pipage hot Fabulous Homemade Bread. Even my viii yr-quondam daughter, who appear that she was not going to swallow vegetable soup, gave information technology two thumbs up! I'll make this once again and again.
08/12/2012
Although I don't use the canned vegetables equally this recipe calls for we still feel the recipe is awesome. I am raising my 2 year old grandson that is allergic to most things that are not fresh or raw so that is why I altered the recipe for our situation. I think information technology's a great recipe or a great start for altering if you have allergies....but skilful all effectually.
03/14/2005
I read reviews from others and used two bouillon cubes forth with 2 packs of regular onion soup mix and it came out fine. I as well used fresh baby carrots, mushrooms, onions and celery forth with 2 canned veggies. I only had to add a picayune h2o when I came home, information technology was thick similar a stew. If you prefer it to be a stew then leave as is..otherwise you might have to add a bit of h2o once it'due south done cooking and mix well. Other than that, information technology was swell to come dwelling to. My toddler loved information technology...he wanted seconds! I'll definitely do this one again, with other veggies to experiment with. Thanks for the idea!
12/twenty/2011
This is a very easy recipe! I fabricated it at camp in the croc pot and was happy with the results. I followed the recipe and institute it to be likewise tomato plant-ey. When we warmed upwardly the leftovers, I added beef broth and it really cut the tomato flavour. Much better! I'll make it again but cut the tomato in i/2 and add together broth.
ten/12/2011
I generally cook from fresh ingredients, even for soup, then I didn't think I would like this. But, I was looking for a quick, like shooting fish in a barrel meal that I could make from stored food, so I tried it. It is delicious! I thought the vegetables would be mushy just they were fine. I didn't take canned potatoes so I cut upwardly fresh and it was fine. The flavor was great, and the meat tender. I put all the ingredients into the slow cooker and cooked it on loftier for 6 hours, merely turned it off after 5 hours because I came home from work and wanted to consume! I served it with prissy crusty rolls and both married man and I enjoyed information technology very much! Information technology is a keeper.
09/17/2010
This soup was the best soup I have e'er had in my life!!!! I used 2 cans of beefiness broth, two cans of water and three tsp better the boullian (located past the bouillans), 1/2 an onion (chopped), 1/2 can diced tomatoes w/ garlic, fresh carrots, fresh cubed potatoes, 1/two tin can drained corn, fresh green beans, three/four cup frozen peas, oregeno, 1 bay foliage, ane i/2 pounds stew meat, and the beefiness onion soup mix. Information technology took about x hours on low for the potatoes to be done. Sooooo tasty!!!!
08/13/2012
WOW- the dish was a major striking with both the grown-ups AND the kids!! The just substitution I had to brand was an exchange of the beef onion soup mix, for a parcel of Lawry'south Beefiness Stew spice mix. VERY yummy!
08/12/2012
I proceed a supply of canned foods, generally low or no added sodium, on hand as an emergency food supply. They do need to exist rotated, and so occasionally, I need to brand dishes using canned veggies. This is a pretty good way to utilise some of them. Since I am a vegetarian, of course, I didn't add the beef, merely instead used a very rich, dark-brown veggie stock. My lower rating is for a lack of flavour. Adding a few herbs and spices would really perk this up a lot. Withal it'due south a good basic recipe for tweakers.
08/13/2012
This recipe was fabulous and easy! My kids loved it and ate every bite. I substitued the veg-all instead of buying all of the different cans of vegetables and used onion soup mix since they didn't accept beef onion at the store I was at. Added a can of beef broth since I didn't take the beef onion mix and likewise added a couple dashes of cayenne pepper and some celery that needed to exist used up. The firm smelled smashing and since I work late, when my hubby came domicile from piece of work, he was able to put a hot meal on the tabular array for the kids earlier running off to soccer do with my 3 & 4 yr olds. For all of those who reviewed this recipe without trying or complained of the canned vegetables, they must not have a decorated life like the rest of us. Stop beingness haters.....
08/20/2012
Take made this twice Attempt #1 - as written, but used frozen veggies. Plant it way likewise "tomatoey", simply showing promise. Endeavour #2 - much more to my liking! Doubled the recipe as follows: ii Lbs stew meat (precut) - browned in hot skillet with olive oil two Cups each of frozen corn, peas, green beans ii Cups cubed fresh carrots 1 Russet potato, cubed (one potato is enough for our liking) 1 28oz can crushed tomatoes (I would NOT add more this...but that's me) 2 14oz cans beef broth + i can of water iii Tbsp of homemade stew seasoning (if you don't have this, could simply add some onion powder, garlic pulverization, salt, pepper and mayhap some crushed red pepper flakes) 2 bay leaves The beef broth and water add together some nice liquid (specially important for leftovers). And I only cooked information technology for 5 hours and it was great.
08/ten/2008
Whenever I rate a recipe I brand certain that I make the recipe as called for. On that note, I thought the soup was very adept specially with using canned vegetables. It taste like bootleg to me and is super easy. And then for a super like shooting fish in a barrel recipe and great gustation, I will exist making it again. Thanks for the recipe.
05/31/2012
This is a wonderful base for whatever it is you similar to have in your soup. I don't do canned carrots or potatoes, so I used fresh and added some h2o to make up the difference for the missing liquid. I also had some leftover veggies and beef stock in the freezer that I added. The hubby loved it. There's enough for another two meals for the ii of u.s.a. (which I will freeze). Served with biscuits, only it would be good besides with cornbread. Thank you for sharing your recipe...will definitely make it again!
01/ten/2012
Yummy and satisfying! I should note that we similar our food very seasoned so I added 1 can of beefiness broth and two bouillon cubes. Also used only one-half the tomatoes per other reviewed suggestions. Midway through cooking we added a cup of barley- yum!
01/12/2012
OMG this was just the best!!! Thank you for sharing :-)
09/21/2005
Really yummy! I did take suggestions and added a second packet of beefiness/onion soup mix. Didn't add water b/c I liked the "stewwy" consistency. Tastes even better on twenty-four hours two! Will make again--couldn't be easier!
12/17/2010
I remember this is a actually good recipe. I used more than fresh veggies and added some water and just a couple of beef burgoo cubes only otherwise just the aforementioned. Very easy and practiced.
ten/29/2009
Not bad recipe.....and so like shooting fish in a barrel!
01/06/2013
Very good, simply like about i made some substitutions. Used frozen veggies since I don't similar canned and also added cubed red potatoes. Added about 6-8 cups of water and two beef boullion cubes as well as 1/4 cup dry red wine (cab sav was open so I went with information technology). Also added 1/2 tsp thyme, ane/2 tsp garlic powder and 1/ii tsp onion powder. I was nervous since I read a lot of the proficient and bad reviews but overall good and will probably make again.
03/25/2000
This was a great hit at our house. Easy to make and oh so tasty. It was very filling and so very good for you.
01/02/2007
All almost too like shooting fish in a barrel to exist so good! I used ii undrained 29-ounce cans of veg-all diced vegetables instead of the various cans called for and the modest can of rotel original tomatoes PLUS an additional can of broth. Excellent ... and I don't even commonly like vegetable soup!
08/12/2012
This recipe is corking if y'all are in a hurry, but I prefer to use fresh vegetables in my soup. It still tastes wonderful, and I'll apply it when I take to "dump and run" in my crock pot!
08/12/2012
This is what my family has called beefiness stew for close to 60 years. The just departure is I add celery, peas and a jar of med Tostitos mesomorphic salsa for a little boot. Add warm crusty bread and butter and you accept a meal made in heaven.
12/14/2011
Like shooting fish in a barrel and and then good!!! My family loved information technology.
12/07/2010
Very skillful recipe! I substituted a pocketbook of frozen mixed vegetables and added beef broth for extra liquid. Also threw in some barley - fabricated a salad and cornbread and enjoyed a delicious meal with non a lot of fuss and bother!
12/19/2005
Skilful! I used kabob meat I had on manus; frozen veggies:dark-green beans, yellow (green) beans & carrots. One pocket-size (14 oz.) Hunt'south Diced tomatoes. For the 'sauce' I used iii beefiness granules dissolved in 3 cups hot h2o. Likewise, used a packet of McCormick Hunter Sauce Blend with a butter base. Table salt & peppered the beef, drenched in flour so browned in skillet in olive oil with ii cloves of garlic and 1/ii a sweet onion. All this went into the crock pot to slow melt for 4 - six hours. Oh yes, besides added i/2 cup Shiraz wine. Delicious! Does anyone know a bootleg version of Hunter Sauce? The back of the bundle includes tomato, onion, salt, mushrooms, parsley, pepper, tarragon, shallots, & garlic.
08/13/2012
Fantastic recipe. I used fresh carrots, potatoes, frozen dark-green beans and corn. I didn't have stew meat then I used cube steak which I broke up in pieces. I added extra seasoning as we like a piddling spicy, crushed scarlet pepper and cajun seasoning. Simmered it all twenty-four hour period - fifty-fifty my very fussy granddaughter said information technology was deliciious. Thank you for the corking recipe.
02/16/2015
This soup was and then easy and succulent! I cooked the meat in the tedious cooker for ii-3 hours on low before adding the veggies, then cooked on low for another 3-4 hours. The only thing I am doing differently next time is adding cabbage.
eleven/20/2011
The only thing I would change is: 2 lbs of meat 1 (xv oz) tin of crushed tomatoes Other than that: perfect!!
12/xx/2001
And so easy and so good!
04/18/2012
This was a big hit with my family unit. The simply changes I made to this was used real potatoes, real carrots, a can of diced tomatoes & a can of crushed tomatoes and added a can of chickpea. I served information technology with Love Corn Bread and my family loved it. I definitely say this recipe is a keeper. :-)
11/02/2009
This couldn't have been any easier! I added equal parts h2o/beef goop to break down the overwhelming tomato taste and people raved over it!!
01/05/2011
I fabricated this recipe exactly as written. It was so tasty! It'southward very easy to make and that is a plus for a decorated mom. I will make this over and over again!
09/17/2010
This was sooo piece of cake and with my SLIGHT changes, it was wonderful! I cubed up 3 large potatoes instead of adding a can of potatoes (just considering that is what I had). I put in only a 14 oz can of diced tomatoes instead of the 28 oz can. I added a can of mixed veggies forth with the carrots, green beans and corn. I did not add together much of the juices from the cans...instead I put in a carton of beef broth with the stew meat. I mixed the packet of onion soup mix with 1 beef boillion cube and 3/4 cup of water before I added that. Put it all in the crock pot on low before I left for work and 9 hours later we had succulent beef vegetable soup on a yucky chilly rainy twenty-four hour period! Tastes merely similar my mom's! I take always been agape to try to brand it myself simply because hers is sooo good!! I'1000 and then glad I did!!! Definitely worth a try if you similar vegetable soup...YUM!!!
10/03/2000

11/08/2011
So easy & so succulent! My family loved information technology & asked for it again!
01/11/2011

08/12/2012
This was wonderful, easy and cooks itself. But no way did I apply canned veggies. We are right in the middle of summer with farmers markets all over the identify and fresh veggies galore!
11/fifteen/2011
This was really good...
11/eighteen/2011
WOW! My married man is non a big veggie soup person and he loved this. The only thing unlike i did was I tuckered all my canned veggies, and I added beefiness goop. Seem to need a lot of beef broth every bit this recipe calls for no liquid other than the juice from the cans. Would also add some other spices. Delish!
09/22/2008
This was the most succulent soup. I made it for our family camping trip and everyone loved it.
01/13/2010
I loved this recipe. I added a can of beef broth and I didn't want the green beans so I replaced them with lima beans. Everyone loved this.
03/25/2009
This is so easy to make. The simply changes I made were: I used fresh potatoes, carrots and celery. I added a can of low sodium beefiness goop. Very good soup. We made fresh bread to go with. This is going into the favorite's. Thanks for sharing!
08/12/2012
The best vegetable beef soup ever! I changed information technology upwardly a bit by calculation i can of beef broth, half of the juice from the green beans, half the juice from the Potatos, no juice from the corn and all of the juice from the carrots. I simply opened the cans in that order, but the point was not to add to much juice to take away the season since I was using a can of beef broth. While eating this my 9yr sometime daughter said," I know y'all asked me a question, simply I didn't want to cease eating to answer you!" this one is a KEEPER!
04/09/2001
Easiest meal I always made and very, very tasty!
eleven/09/2004
This was pretty good. I was a piddling skeptical. With all the canned ingredients, I was afraid that it would taste sort of like canned soup, only it turned out to be pretty good. I made one change. The last 30 minutes or so of cooking, I turned up the heat to high, added about iii cups of beefiness stock, and the added most one one/2 cups of pocket-sized pasta. Information technology was really practiced and very filling. Will make again. Thanks for the recipe!
11/06/2011
This was so easy and good!! Made it exactly every bit directed and it was swell!
12/31/2008
This was so easy to make. Everything went in to the pot on depression for 7 hours. I used fresh carrots, celery, frozen peas and canned corn. I added 1/4 loving cup of barley at the concluding hour. Turned out perfect!
xi/13/2014
This was totally delicious and hitting the spot! it reminds me of the soup my mother used to make. this is almost goof proof for the most bones of cooks! making again soon!
03/08/2010
This has to be my favorite crock pot recipe always. Just pour everything in, cook on depression all twenty-four hours, requite it a little stir, and serve with corn muffins. It's very thick and filling and lasts united states of america all calendar week. It's a bully way to get a husband to eat vegetable (they're surrounding the meat so he has to swallow them to go to the meat!) :-)
09/04/2012
Loved this soup, though I must acknowledge, I did alter it quite a scrap. I used 1.5 lbs. stew meat, 1 purse each frozen sugariness corn and frozen green beans, 1/ii modest bag of carrots sliced, i bag golden beloved potatoes, a 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes and 2 packages garlic and herb soup mix. To offset the lack of juice from the canned veggies, I added a 32oz box of beef broth. It was Amazing! I am on a depression sodium diet and and so using fresh/frozen veggies is generally a must for me. I know I'm not rating the recipe "as is" but I experience that I kept the bones structure of the recipe and just subbed for fresh ingredients. Even my picky-eater husband loved it. This recipe was easy and tasty. I'm excited to see how the leftovers taste!
01/04/2006
I was a scrap doubtful nigh this but I shouldn't have been. This was fantastic I did alter information technology a little flake to arrange our tastes I used a can of ratatouille instead of tomatoes equally we're not great canned tomato lovers and used peas instead of sweetcorn as my married man doesn't like sweetcorn. This is definitely more of a stew but very filling and bang-up comfort food too. Will be making often. Thanks
12/12/2009
I love this recipe! It's easy and comes out great! I melt the meat in a pan first and so throw information technology into a pot on the stove. I as well add a tin of peas.
06/eleven/2011
And so piece of cake a five yr old could do information technology! I have made this many times and always with rave reviews. I was concerend the firstt ime I made this, i thought I would come up habitation to a bunch of unrecognizeable mush. I was pleasantly suprised. Will continue to make my vegatable soup only one way...THIS ONE!
10/18/2014
Nosotros have fabricated this many times now. Extremely simple and delicious. This is a dandy go to recipe when you demand to take food to someone who has had surgery, merely had a baby etc. Everybody raves almost it and wants the recipe. Nearly embarrassing to give them such a simple recipe.
12/18/2009
Very Tomatoey. Also You lot could def tell that the veggies came from a tin can.
11/19/2011
great soup, still I doubled it and it was to thick and tomato tasting, so I made information technology again and used beef broth instead of 1 tin can of tomatoes and it was great. I also substituted Lima beans for 1 tin of dark-green beans. Now information technology is perfect! If you don't like the thickness or strong tomato taste and so try this.
ten/07/2001
It doesn't become any easier then this! Great sense of taste and then fast and easy. A definite "brand over again soon" recipe.

09/16/2011
Delicious. I used frozen vegetables in lieu of canned and added beef broth. Very tasty soup.
09/03/2012
Sorry, I could only requite this ane star. Besides many carrots, to much corn and way to salty with the soup mix. Just didn't have the sense of taste of good erstwhile fashion vegetable soup. Love apple'southward over powered the taste.
04/03/2002
This was a pretty good soup recipe. I merely added a handbag of frozen mixed vegetatbles instead of the separate cans. Also, added a can of beef broth. It was a very hearty soup.
12/07/2001
My married man and I loved this recipe - very easy to make and has wonderful flavour. The merely thing I changed was that I added a tin of Rotel since we both similar spicy foods. The meat is so tender. Wonderful! Will definitely brand once more! Thank you for this recipe!
12/x/2003
My husband raved about this soup. I didn't have the beef with onion soup. So I combined 2 ideas from previous reviews. I used most i/ii a parcel of dry out onion soup mix and I used beefiness goop. Information technology was so easy to brand and it was wonderful. I highly recommend it!!!
04/06/2001
Very easy, inappreciably anything to "prepare," and information technology is one of the all-time soups I take always had! Perfect!
11/07/2010
Yummy! I've made this twice now and the first time I did all canned vegs except for using raw potatoes. At the terminate of 8 hours on low, the potatoes were yet a little tough. The second fourth dimension I made this, I microwaved two medium potatoes in some water for 5 minutes earlier calculation to the crockpot. Perfect! This is wonderful on a chilly Autumn night with some homemade bread. *****Gotta a change- Youngest daughter wasn't crazy nearly the broth with tomatoes in it so I now omit them and add 1 tin of beefiness broth. I miss the tomatoes, but it's even so excellent without them.
06/29/2010
This is a very flavorful soup. I was surprised because information technology was and then like shooting fish in a barrel. I had to substitute a couple of items because I didn't have them canned. I cutting upwardly potatoes and carrots and poured h2o over them so that it would be quick and piece of cake in the morn. I don't similar tomatoes and green beans then I substituted butter beans. I read some of the comments saying information technology was very tomato-ey so I added 2 beef bouillon cubes. It was very practiced and simple. Thanks.
08/27/2012
I fabricated merely a couple minor tweeks to this soup, I used Hamburger instead of the Stew Meat, and used a smaller can (maybe 15oz) of crushed tomatoes. Was pretty expert, and will put this in my soup rotation.
xi/18/2001
this soup is quick and easy to make. My husband really enjoyed it and then did I. I volition exist making this again.

Y'all can follow the original recipe and go a soup that is O.K. and easy. I would one/2 the amount of tomatoes as they tend to accept over the taste. This is how I brand my crock pot soup but I have to add chopped onion, celery and minced garlic along with a heaping tbsp of beef base, in place of the onion soup mix. If you accept the fourth dimension use fresh cut vegetables for supreme season and diet; Besides one/4C blood-red wine which gives information technology some zing. I would likewise throw in 2C of big shell macaroni a one-half 60 minutes before serving.

I use fresh potatoes instead of canned and I add i & 1/ii tsp of beef meliorate than bouillan paste. I skip adding salt and sprinkle fresh ground pepper over tiptop. Yum! Thanks for this recipe.

First-class comfort food. I added a pocket-sized can of lycopersicon esculentum sauce at the finish to add a little brightness to an otherwise splendid recipe.

I've never posted a annotate nigh a recipe before but I had to on this one - it was wonderful!! I mean.... how much simpler can you get?!?! I did make a couple of changes after reading a few reviews; I tuckered one tin of the veggies and substitued information technology with a can of beef broth. I suppose you could just add the broth with everything else but I didn't want it to get too watery. Then I used both envelopes of the beef with onion soup mix so there was added beefiness flavor. Last I added some garlic. Nothing major just a few tweaks. Oh, and for all those who are afraid of canned potatoes - we were too merely they were perfect and plan on using them in more recipes.

Loved it! This was my first effort at making vegetable soup. I was a fiddling unclear if the greenish bean juice was supposed to go in or non, I left it out. Also for the 1 package beefiness with onion soup, I wasn't certain what this was so substituted with 1 packet of onion soup and ane tbsp beefiness bulion. I also added 1 pocket-sized can of V8 and most 1 cup water. Peachy recipe!

Perfect. This is more of a stew than a soup. I added an extra tin can of potatoes and carrots, and used Rotel, as suggested previously. Only I used the Italian Harvest Rotel, and it turned out smashing. Great for taking leftovers to piece of work for tiffin! Everyone else was drooling...

This was great! I modified this a little. I always brown the meat a trivial earlier putting it in the slow cooker, you don't need to but I like it that way. I used ii bags frozen veggies, one mixed veggies and the other the seasoned veggies with potatoes. I used the 28 oz tin can of diced tomatoes and I either have added a piddling more water or I take used beef or vegetable broth. I have also cutting upwards some celery if I had it on mitt when I was making it. I have made this many times since I found this recipe. Thanks for sharing!
